The meat was stolen on two separate occasions, and overall a total of nine steaks were taken

The reaction follows reports in Birmingham of a man stealing steaks from a shop, and now police are using CCTV to track down the culprit. An AlertSystems spokesperson provides a statement.

Police in Birmingham have published CCTV images of a man they want to speak to regarding the theft of steaks from Marks & Spencer. The meat was stolen on two separate occasions, and overall a total of nine steaks were taken. The man took the steaks from the fridge and concealed them in his jacket before leaving the shop.

The first incident occurred at 9.50pm on February 28th, with the second happening a week later on March 7th. The stolen meat had a total value of over £80, and now police are hoping that with the aid of CCTV they’ll be able to track down the offender. “We need to find the person who stole these items,” said Sergeant Martin Smith. “I think the man in the pictures can help with our inquiries.”
