Women In Recruitment - an APSCo initiative designed to support women in the recruitment sector to achieve their full potential – has welcomed five new members to its steering committee.

The group will oversee the introduction of mentoring, personal development and networking opportunities to benefit women in the profession as well as assisting recruitment firms in making the most of the female talent in their businesses.

The new committee includes: independent consultant Jane Woodhead; Belinda Wilkins, UK & Europe HR Manager at Aquent Vitamin T; Sam Kamyar, Director at Empiric; Sarah Mason, Director at Talent Advantage and Vivien Weldon, Head of Client Solutions at Parity Professionals.
They will join current members; Ann Swain, Chief Executive of APSCo; Julie Bowen, Member Services Manager at APSCo; Natasha Clarke, Managing Partner at SThree and Nicola Mullarkey, Director at Smart Resource Solutions and Honest Recruiter.

Following the new appointments, Nicola Mullarkey commented;

“Our mission is to empower women to achieve their full potential, and influence change, in an enlightened recruitment profession. I’m delighted to have such fantastic talent on-board, and I’m confident that, together, we can make a real difference to gender inequality across the senior ranks of our profession.”
