REHABWORKS, a leading provider of injury management and rehabilitation services throughout the UK, has today announced its acquisition of Right Corecare Ltd (Trading as Right Management WorkplaceWellness).

The deal sees RehabWorks bring a leading Employee Assistance Programme and corporate wellbeing provider within its business for the first time, helping to further confirm its position as a major player in wellness solutions for the corporate world.

Collectively, the two businesses will now boast some 162 staff, with headquarters to continue at RehabWorks’ Bury St Edmunds offices in Suffolk, and with a number of centres spread from Glasgow to Southampton.

Having previously worked together as joint partners with clients to deliver health and wellbeing programmes, the formal acquisition allows for enhanced delivery capability and the acceleration of an ambitious growth plan.

Andy Holdcroft, CEO of RehabWorks, said: “This acquisition is a hugely exciting development for both businesses enabling us to build upon our respective strengths and offer our existing and new customers even more –optimising our superior reputation for quality and service.

“At RehabWorks we have been looking for the opportunity to incorporate an Employee Assistance Programme because we see it as such a key aspect of improving wellbeing and performance within today’s demanding workplace.

“Bringing the exceptional expertise offered by Right Corecare Ltd under our brand means we can do that with a very established and trusted partner. We see a huge advantage for executing our strategic plans in the public and private sectors.”

Jayne Carrington, Managing Director of Right Management Workplace Wellness, echoed the enthusiasm for the move and said staff, customers and business partners/suppliers have all been very carefully considered in the undertaking.

“We are really excited about these developments because of the scope and opportunity it now provides us in continuing to offer best in class services and to support our customers’ investments in employee health and wellbeing.” she said.

“Our business values are very similar so it feels like a superb ‘fit’ for both parties “

RehabWorks has won a number of plaudits in recent years for its work in occupational health, complex case management and prevention programmes.

With clients spanning leading private and public sector organisations, it has a number of senior staff on industry boards such as the Case Management Society of the UK, Vocational Rehabilitation Association and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health.

Mr Holdcroft added: “I would like to emphasise my thanks to all those involved in helping to make this acquisition possible, and in particular to the staff of both companies, who we believe will enjoy an even stronger future as part of a dynamic and sector-leading brand.”
