Specialist communications agency Blackbridge has pledged to sponsor this year’s Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) Awards to raise awareness of the benefits of engaging with every available pool of talent. Now in their second year, the awards celebrate progress and recognise the success of organisations that are making headway in increasing the inclusion of disabled professionals.

Blackbridge is a communications agency which specialises in helping clients to attract and engage talent. It works with a wide range of organisations, from FTSE 100 businesses through to charities and start-ups. Its work has been recognised by the RAD Awards, CIPD Marketing Awards, Corp Comms Digi Awards, AGR Awards and the TARGETjobs National Recruitment Awards.

Commenting on why Blackbridge Communications has chosen to be a sponsor of this year’s event, Tony Andrews, Managing Director, said:

“As an organisation which promotes the importance of communications to attract and engage talent, we feel that RIDI’s mission to increase the inclusion of disabled professionals through improved recruitment processes is incredibly important. Any business is only as good as its people, and smart employers know that the key to success lies in their ability to connect with the widest possible pool of candidates.”

"Blackbridge is proud to sponsor the second RIDI Awards. It’s crucial that we recognise and celebrate the progress made by employers to remove restrictions for disabled people in the workplace."
