New Eco-Friendly Cornish Brand Shortlisted for Best FreeFrom Skincare Brand Award

Truro, Cornwall – Cornish body & skincare brand Bloomtown has been shortlisted for several Freefrom Skincare Awards, including Best Freefrom Skincare Brand, alongside industry heavyweights such as Neal’s Yard Remedies.
Bloomtown, which was launched in April 2016 by Cornishman Medwin Culmer and partner Preyanka Clark Prakash, has already scooped up several prestigious beauty awards and boasts stellar ethical accreditations from The Ethical Company Organisation and The Good Shopping Guide.
Almost 200 products from more than 100 brands have made the shortlist of the sixth annual FreeFrom Skincare Awards, which was founded in 2012 to encourage and reward manufacturers of skincare products that are ‘free from’ many of the allergens, ingredients, additives and artificial fragrances associated with skin sensitivities, health concerns, as well as ethical, personal and environmental issues.
Bloomtown is among five brands who lead the way with four shortlisted products each; their shortlisted products include two of their popular Sugar Scrubs, their Organic Hand & Body Wash and their Roll-On Infused Oil, all free from palm oil, parabens and synthetic ingredients.
Bloomtown co-founder Preyanka Clark Prakash, who immigrated to the UK in 2015, had this to say about the news: “My husband and I started Bloomtown because we saw a real need for a palm oil-free revolution in the beauty industry.
