Paul Skeldon, Editor-in-Chief for COM Europe magazine - on the intricacies
of rebranding a publication.
London, 28 November 2000 - CMP Europe Ltd recently announced the rebranding of its
flagship magazine, Computer Telephony Europe (1) to Com Europe. Paul Skeldon (2),
Editor-in-Chief and his team will be overhauling and refreshing the pages of this popular
publication (3) to better reflect the changing needs of its readers.
Skeldon has been a business to business journalist for the past 12 years, working across titles
covering lifestyle, engineering and, for the last six years, telecoms and IT issues. Originally
editor of Voice International magazine and then relaunch editor of Computer Telephony
Europe, Paul is now behind the rebranding of the new look magazine.
Due out in February 2001, Skeldon says: "The new look magazine will address the whole
gamut of technology and communications issues surrounding the running of corporate
comms: it starts at the centre of your business, with the infrastructure of both voice and data
and then moves out to your doorstep. Com Europe is a one stop shop for all your comms

Skeldon is a regular telecoms columnist for a leading Banking Technology title and has
contributed to the GSM Yearbook, a number of IT titles in vertical markets and The Times
and The Guardian newspapers. He is also overseeing the take over and future development
of Call Centre Focus magazine, which CMP Europe recently acquired from Call Craft (4).
