‘Tell me More’ computer based learning systems, with speech recognition, win praise from professional awards bodies

The latest version of Auralog's computer based language learning system 'Tell me More' has been acclaimed this month by winning six new distinctions from four international awards organisations. Widely recognised for its perfect command of technology and pedagogical methods, Auralog has once more been rewarded for the innovation of its products. In November, 'Tell me More - the Solution' received three EMMA Awards, the European IST Prize, the NewMedia Invision gold award and a finalist certificate in the New York Festivals.

The EMMA Foundation recognises excellence in digital media content creation through the acknowledgement of best practices and on-going educational programmes in over 40 countries. 'Tell me More' won two awards in the categories "Interactive Approach: CD/Online Integration" and "Education and Home Learning: Adult" with French Beginner level, and one in the category "Business: Training" with English Business level.

'Tell me More' was awarded the European IST Prize by the European Council of Applied Sciences and Engineering (Euro-CASE), created with the support of the European Commission. The criteria applied to selection of the winners were technical excellence, innovative content, potential market value and capacity to generate new jobs. The jury, composed of 15 independent experts, selected Auralog's 'Tell me More' from over 200 entries from companies and institutions in 26 countries.

The NewMedia Invision gold award was awarded to 'Tell me More' in the category "Continuing Education". NewMedia is an international editorial organisation focusing on high technologies. It chose from more than 1,100 entries from 18 countries to select the winners.

And finally, Auralog’s ‘Tell me More’ was honoured by the New York Festivals. With over 16, 000 programmes presented from 64 countries, the New York Festivals organise competitions in different communication areas every year. ‘ Tell me More’ won a finalist certificate.
