Maconomy signs major deal in Holland

• Maconomy signs major deal with Deltares involving an ERP solution for 800 users
• Deltares purchased Maconomy’s new business analysis software AnalytiX
• The deal confirms that Maconomy has a firm grasp of its key industry segments

Copenhagen, March 28, 2008 Maconomy today landed a major deal with the Dutch institute Deltares. The deal includes a Maconomy Consulting Solution for 800 users with a number of add-on modules, including Maconomy AnalytiX.

Deltares provides consulting services and research on water engineering and the subsurface to customers worldwide. The institute has a unique combination of knowledge and experience within delta-related issues. The company is a frontrunner in the development and application of knowledge for physical planning, design and management of vulnerable deltas, coastal areas and river basins. With offices in Delft and Utrecht, Deltares cooperates with the Dutch government, international governments and other market parties. It was founded on 1 January 2008 by a number of engineering consulting and research organisations.

The new organisation quickly realised that an aggregate ERP solution was a necessity. Deltares tested a number of ERP suppliers, including Maconomy, on different functional criteria to ensure that Deltares would get the best possible ERP solution for its particular needs. Maconomy achieved the best overall score of all suppliers, scoring particularly highly on its strong Job Cost finance module that enables Deltares to collect up-to-date financial data from different business units and markets.

Deltares has purchased a Maconomy Consulting Solution for 800 users with a number of add-on modules, including Project Administration, Finance, SpeedSheet and AnalytiX. AnalytiX, Maconomy’s new business analysis software, makes it easy for Deltares to create detailed and fully up-to-date status reports with key figures about the entire business. Deltares plans to start using the implemented Maconomy solution around
October 1, 2008.

“The Deltares deal confirms that we are on the right track with our growth strategy as we continue to reach out to new industry segments in the market for ERP solutions to Professional Services Organisations. It tells us that many specialised companies in this market face business challenges that we can help them address,” says Maconomy CEO Hugo Dorph.

This release does not affect Maconomy’s financial expectations for 2008.
