Videoplaza expands Board of Advisors


European leader in online video advertising & monetisation taps high profile digital industry veterans

London, UK, 15 April 2010: Videoplaza, the European leader in ad serving technology for managing and monetising online video, today announced that it’s added two senior advisors to its board, Andreas Ehn former CTO of Spotify and Nils Winkler, previously CSO of ADTECH, bringing invaluable technology and business expansion expertise to the company.

Following on from the news of inward funding of 5 million dollars last month, the addition of these two new board members will support the Videoplaza management team by bringing a high level of knowledge and experience as the company experiences very rapid growth across Europe.

Previously CTO of Spotify, Andreas Ehn recruited a world-class team of developers and defined the initial product, technical strategy and architecture of the service. Before his three years at Spotify, he worked at Swedish startup Stardoll, the world's largest online fashion and games community.

With over 15 years of experience in media and the online industry, Nils Winkler was in charge of expanding ADTECH Germany’s ad serving business from the ground up in the Nordics and United States. Now CEO of Hi-Media Payments / Allopass for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Winkler has a successful track record of establishing businesses in international markets and bringing European technology companies to the US.
