Western Digital (WD) announced today the UK launch of the Select WD Partner
programme in support of resellers, systems houses and systems integrators
that promote WD storage solutions.
The Select WD Partner programme gives Resellers, systems houses and systems
integrators the opportunity to enjoy a direct relationship with the
manufacturer in a number of important areas. It is seen as an important way
of supporting WD’s network of distributors.
Resellers who qualify for membership will benefit from direct access to a
dedicated WD marketing team, listing on the WD website as an official
dealer, official certification as a Select WD Partner, regular mailings of
technical information and marketing news, individual product training and
supply of marketing material.
Marketing Development Funds are also offered to resellers who reach
specified sales targets.
Trudy Benney, Sales, Hard Drive Solutions, said “Being better informed
through this programme will give our partners a competitive edge. We provide
them with outstanding product knowledge, strong selling arguments and their
own personal WD contacts.
“The Programme has been running successfully for several years in the USA
and Germany producing great results both for our partners and WD in the
countries targeted. Resellers in the UK will now experience the benefit of
this fully developed programme.”
Companies interested in obtaining more information about the programme are
invited to contact Trudy Benney by email at Trudy.A.Benney@wdc.com.
