BtL Profiled in the Thames Valley Business Barometer.

BtL one of five businesses selected in the latest edition of the Barometer

Bracknell, UK – 1 February 2017 – BtL, a leading supplier of business-to-business IT and telecoms products, is one of five growing and aspiring businesses profiled in the latest bi-annual Thames Valley Business Barometer.

Released this week, the bi-annual survey provides a snapshot of economic confidence and business performance across the Thames Valley. It has tracked developing business trends in the region for the last four years. The latest online survey launched in September and ran until the end of October 2016 with nearly 200 local businesses taking part.

The Barometer survey is carried out by accountants and business advisers BDO LLP and Thames Valley-based PR and marketing agency, C8 Consulting. The Barometer showcases five business profiles of flourishing companies from across the region handpicked because of their track record. This report features BtL as well as ActiveOps, Teneo, Gamal Engineering and JSP.

BtL is a privately owned business that has grown year-on-year and Managing Director, Rob Lamden, believes the future for the company is extremely positive. 2016 was a big year for BtL as it was approached by CityFibre to work in partnership reselling its Gigabit internet digital infrastructure. Rob Lamden comments: “It is very rare in this space to have a USP. Yes we deliver bespoke solutions to our customers, but now as sole reseller for CityFibre, this gives us something unique to take to our existing and indeed a new customer base.”

CityFibre builds, designs and operates pure fibre networks across the UK with speeds of up to 1000mbps. In September and November with the help of BtL it launched its Gigabit fibre internet infrastructure in Reading and Bracknell with plans to launch in other Thames Valley towns such as Maidenhead and Slough in 2017.

During the Barometer interview Rob Lamden advised that BtL is relocating to new offices in Bracknell so that BtL is also ‘on net’ with CityFibre. The company has experienced strong profitable growth over the last three years and is now looking to double the number of customers with the opportunity that CityFibre represents.

Over the past 15 years BtL has been a supplier of B2B IT and telecoms products and services. Rob Lamden adds: “Our goal is to build long lasting partnerships with our clients. To this end we often design tailored solutions to meet client requirements.”

The Barometer offers all companies within the Thames Valley area the opportunity to keep up-to-date with likeminded people and to learn more about the businesses in the local area.
