Eniram expands by opening new office in Germany

Hamburg

Helsinki, Finland – November 7, 2013 - Eniram Limited, the fast-growing Finnish provider of energy management technology and data analytic services to the shipping industry, today announced that it is expanding its European operations, opening a new office in Hamburg, Germany.

“Hamburg was a clear choice for us as it is one of the premier European hubs for shipping”, said Mr Philip Padfield, CEO of Eniram. “With the new office, we aim at further assisting our German clients looking to introduce energy saving solutions to make their shipping operations more efficient and cost effective. A noteworthy example would be Hamburg Süd, one of the key carriers on the North-South trade route, who have achieved fuel economies of 3 to 5% with our Dynamic Trimming technology. When applications addressing speed and engine management are combined with our dynamic trimming technology, shipping companies typically save up-to 10% of fuel per vessel, and get 100% visibility into fuel consumption”, continues Mr Padfield.

To keep pace with growth in the region, Mr Andrew Rayner has been appointed to Sales Manager for the new office. Mr Rayner, who has a vast knowledge of the German market, joined Eniram earlier this year after nearly 25 years working for International Paint Marine Coatings, in sales and sales management positions, working with customers in both the new building and ship-owner sectors. Commenting on the appointment, Mr Padfield says: “I am excited to welcome Andrew with his significant international experience. This is exactly what is needed to take Eniram’s operations in Germany to a new level”
