Eniram expands to Middle East

Helsinki, Finland – March 5, 2014 - Eniram Limited, the fast-growing Finnish provider of energy management technology and data analytic services to the shipping industry, today announced that it is expanding its international operations to the Middle East.

“We will be in Dubai on Wednesday 5th March in order to present the details of the savings that some of our existing customers such as Hapag-Lloyd, Carnival Cruise Lines, Maran Tankers and Hamburg Süd have experienced through using Eniram’s systems”, said Mr. Martin Penney, Global Market Development Manager of Eniram.

Commenting on the expansion, Mr. Philip Padfield, CEO of Eniram, said “We are seeing growth opportunities in the Middle East, and with a presence in Dubai, we aim at further assisting local shipping companies looking to introduce energy saving solutions to make their operations more efficient and cost effective.”

Mr. Martin Penney continues: “With 200+ vessels installed with its fuel saving and energy management systems covering all vessel types - container vessels, tankers, LNG carriers, RoRo vessels, bulkers and cruise ships, Eniram is building something that makes a difference. We look forward to bringing the benefits of these systems to shipping companies in the Middle East to help make their vessels even more efficient.”

In September that year, Eniram announced a strategic partnership with Headway Technology Co. Ltd, based in Qingdao (China), and just a few months later, appointed two Korean partners with extensive maritime experience and client reach to distribute Eniram ship efficiency solutions to the Korean shipping industry, one of the biggest shipbuilding nations and fleet owners in Asia. Last year, Eniram opened its German office in Hamburg and expanded a month later its international operations to Japan.
