Northgate to help Denbighshire County Council improve private sector housing functions

Denbighshire County Council today announces that it has selected Northgate Information Solutions to improve the business processes governing its Housing Enforcement and Housing and Area Renewals functions.

Northgate will provide Denbighshire with a new system to support the councils’ work in private sector housing through the comprehensive management of grants, non-grant assistance, complaints, inspection, payments and implementation of the new Housing Act.

All relevant information, including that collected throughout the various application processes, will be recorded and made available from a single point of access, ensuring staff can deliver a faster service to local citizens.

Councillor Pauline Dobb, Lead Member for Health and Wellbeing at Denbighshire County Council said today:
“We are proud of the high levels of service our housing grants team provide. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we are pleased to be working with Northgate to streamline our business processes.”

Dave Meaden, Managing Director of Northgate Public Services, added:
“We are delighted to be working with Denbighshire County Council and to be providing staff with additional support for their work. Information will be available first time, every time, helping to ensure those eligible for assistance are able to conduct much-needed repairs.”
