FISCAL TECHNOLOGIES APPOINTS ALAN LAING AS CHAIRMAN

Reading, UK — 1 November 2018. FISCAL Technologies, a world leading provider of forensic solutions and services that empower purchase-to-pay teams across the globe to protect organisational spend, announces the appointment of Alan Laing as a Chairman to their Board of Directors.

Alan is an industry veteran and non-executive director and advisor to several businesses. Alan was most recently Managing Director of Sage in the UK and Ireland, prior to that has been responsible for Sage's Strategic Alliances and Partner businesses worldwide. Alan has spent more than 30 years working in the technology industry. Having started his career as a lawyer practicing mergers and acquisitions law, Alan then joined Digital Equipment Corporation and then Oracle, where he spent 14 years holding a number of executive positions. During his time in tech industry, he’s also held the positions of CEO of the CMS supplier Mediasurface, and EVP of Portal Software and then Avaya.
