Hands around the Wrekin 2014

community groups and local people will come together around the Wrekin to break four Guinness World Records including the number of people doing the Hokey Cokey!

On 21 September 2014, community groups and local people will come together around the Wrekin to break four Guinness World Records including the number of people doing the Hokey Cokey! The event and run up will see money being raised and shared equally between four chosen charities; LD Cancer Fund, Midlands Air Ambulance, The Clifton, and Stay. Hands around the Wrekin first took place on 4 May 1981, when some 17,000 people linked hands across an estimated length of 3.66 miles achieving an entry in the 1982 Guinness Book of World Records.

Telford based Graphics and Print are delighted to help support the publicity drive for this landmark event with print and design. You can also get involved by helping with transport, holding a fund raising event, being a volunteer, making a donation, and of course putting your best foot forward and participating on the day!
