Telstra Europe Signs Co-location Hosting Contract with Denton Wilde Sapte

London-based International Law Firm to benefit from more robust disaster recovery solution by utilising Dockland’s hosting centre facility

Telstra Europe, one of the UK’s leading alternative business telephony and internet suppliers, in conjunction with its partner Comunica Ltd, has secured a Co-location hosting contract with the International law firm, Denton Wilde Sapte.

Denton Wilde Sapte’s mission critical data will now be managed at Telstra Europe’s Docklands-based hosting centre. The company will benefit from improved Disaster Recovery capabilities and reduced IT data administration and costs.

Denton Wilde Sapte recently moved from two London office sites to one and took the opportunity to review its IT infrastructure. As part of the move the firm decided to upgrade its IT infrastructure and replace its in-house Disaster Recovery solution with a specialist hosting solution from Telstra Europe.

The firm has taken 82 square metres of Co-location space at Telstra Europe’s Docklands site and has the capacity to add further servers to its private suite as its data storage requirements evolve. Denton Wilde Sapte will benefit from the reduced costs of not having to maintain its original in-house Disaster Recovery solution, improved security by having its mission critical data hosted off-site and superior levels of service and flexibility, such as the provision for scalable levels of bandwidth as required.

The contract is being deployed in conjunction with Comunica Ltd which, as a member of Telstra Europe’s channel accreditation programme, receives dedicated support that enables it to seamlessly provide its clients with a Co-location hosting facility that compliments Comunica Ltd’s IT Service offering. Telstra Europe worked closely with Comunica Ltd using its “Sell With” partnership model which also enabled Denton Wilde Sapte to benefit from a flexible and rapid service with direct access to Telstra Europe specialists whenever required.
