Skip nav is seeing 17 times more bets on RBS than usual

Fixed-odds financial bookmaker is witnessing an unprecedented increase in the volume of bets on Royal Bank of Scotland’s share price to rise. Market Analyst Ryan Kneale, said: “We have had 17 times more bets on RBS than usual and 89% of all bets are for the share price to go up. RBS is the stock that we are currently seeing the largest number of bets on.”

Ryan added: “The large increase in bets on RBS is due to rumours that the Qatar Investment Authority is interested in buying a stake in the British bank. RBS shares are up by 4 per cent so far during today’s trading and rose by 5 per cent during yesterday’s trading. Savvy market punters are piling in with the expectation that the share price will rocket.”
