Quantix Announce Further ISV Partnership Success

Quantix Logo

Quantix is pleased to announce a multi-year Software-as-a-Service contract with one of our key ISV partners, IDBS. Through the Quantix delivery platform, IDBS has enabled a unique, translational medicine platform for the Integrated Cancer Centre with King’s Health Partners.

ORIS – the Oncology Research Information System will enable Kings Health Partners to develop targeted, personalised cancer therapies according to specific genetic and other characteristics of individual patients.

Using the Quantix Cloud platform, Nimbus-Q, to enable their Software-as-a-Service solution, IDBS is able to deliver a ground-breaking solution – a single, cross-organisational research platform which will bring together patient data for all King’s Health Partners, handling the complex analytical demands of translational research and improving collaboration between their partners.

The partnership between IDBS and Quantix allows a powerful combination of skills to be offered to IDBS’ broad R&D and Healthcare customer base. IDBS provides authentic enterprise applications and specialised informatics environments whilst Quantix bring their extensive experience of provisioning complex applications via a SaaS delivery model and proven expertise of complex database and application hosting and support solutions.

IDBS benefits from the expertise and support skills Quantix bring to the relationship, and in turn provides its customers and partners with the extensive data and connectivity security the Nimbus-Q platform offers. Simon Goodenough, Sales & Marketing Director of Quantix, explains “Quantix has developed its enterprise grade cloud infrastructure to provide secure hosting and delivery platform for ISVs, and we’re delighted that IDBS and their partners are taking full advantage of these benefits for such an innovative and ground-breaking solution.”

In addition, Chris Molloy, VP Corporate Development at IDBS, explains “We selected Quantix for the managed hosting of our applications because of their highly professional approach and commitment to customer data security. Keeping our systems and data secure is an absolute priority to us and it’s key that our hosting partner fully understands this.”

The ORIS project highlights IDBS’ strategy to design and build enterprise data management and analytics systems targeted at improving healthcare provision in the UK and worldwide, and demonstrates the huge advantages SaaS enablement can bring to different markets. Quantix is extremely pleased with the partnership from both a technical perspective (due to the successful delivery of highly complex hosting solutions) and also from the perspective that they are able to support projects within the healthcare sector which will improve the quality of care and treatment patients receive, and make a real difference to the market.
