A pub inside King’s Cross Station in London received an official wedding licence so marriages and civil ceremonies can take place there. The Parcel Yard was voted the station’s best retailer in 2014 and this can only enhance its reputation. Rashpal Photography have responded to the news.
Five of the rooms in this pub are licensed to host a special day including the First Class Lounge, according to a report on London24.com. King’s Cross was voted the best station across the world for food and drink last year.
Most people will favour an extravagant ceremony, however slightly more low-key events are seen as being advantageous because of their simplicity and speed. Weddings dates are difficult to book and these celebrations can cost tens of thousands due to expenditure on caterers and hiring a location. These reasons could attract several couples into tying the knot at King’s Cross.
