Following their success at the Medilink Yorkshire and Humber Awards last November, Hull-based Savantini Limited continued their success by being awarded the prestigious national Medilink UK award for Best Start Up at the at the NHS Innovation Expo in London yesterday evening.

The Medilink UK Start Up Awards honour the leading lights in the field of healthcare innovation, recognising companies that started from scratch within the past 3 years.

Savantini Limited own and run the UK’s leading pelvic health brand Kegel8, which not only researches, designs and retails a range of clinically tested pelvic floor exercise devices for both men and women, but also aims to educate and inform people of all ages about the importance of a strong and healthy pelvic floor for the prevention and treatment of incontinence, bladder weakness and prolapse.

Founded in 2010 by Stephanie Taylor, Savantini Limited has gone from strength to strength, with a small but dedicated team in Hull, East Yorkshire. After building the Kegel8 brand in the UK and helping thousands of women to take control of their pelvic floor, Savantini has successfully expanded into Europe and is also reaching women in Asia, the Middle East, Australia and the USA.

Savantini prides itself not only on developing innovative and highly effective healthcare products in their Kegel8 range, but also on its ability to deliver informative and often much-needed health information via blogs and articles to women who feel too embarrassed to get the help they need.
