Shavekit.com acquires CloseShaveSociety

Shavekit.com have announced today that it has agreed to purchase CloseShaveSociety.com. Founded in 2012 in London, Close Shave Society were one of the pioneers of subscription razor retailing online in the UK. Close Shave Society members will be on-boarded to Shavekit's service over the next 3 months.

"The Close Shave Society founders have done a fantastic job, with some highly engaged and loyal subscribers" said Tom Walker, Co-Founder of Shavekit.com. "We plan to continue to keep them as happy as they have been and deliver the same great shaving experience as the rest of our Shavekit members."

Dane Straw and Zach Hanauer, co-founders of Close Shave Society added "We've built a great community and enjoyed the ride the past 4 years but have taken things as far as we could. Shavekit offer a great service and range of products which will no doubt keep our customers very satisfied as they join an already happy and growing customer base."

Both co-founders will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
