Emerging UK Software Beats Household Names For Major B2B Award.

Emerging UK software app, VideoScribe triumphed over some of the world’s biggest brands to win the B2B marketing category at the recent Marketing on Mobile Awards.

VideoScribe, brain child of the company Sparkol, was nominated against well-known brands such as Audi and Prudential and was the clear underdog in an event which also featured SONY, Barclays and EBay amongst others.

Judges recognised that VideoScribe enhances SEO, visibility and business growth by empowering users to create their own animated videos easily without need for technical ability and design know-how.

Sparkol founder Jon Air said: “The award is a huge honour and recognises that VideoScribe is a valuable tool for Business 2 Business (B2B) marketing. To win against such notable companies with a product only just a year old, is an incredible achievement”.

VideoScribe is a cost effective tool that enables businesses to use animation to engage their audience in innovative ways, increasing site traffic and boosting sales.
One customer recently reported that animated videos placed on a company website increased the time spend on the webpage by 50% and increased profits by as much as 100,000GDP.

Suzi Hull, Creative Lead at Sparkol said: “Our aim has always been to empower users to share their message inexpensively. Our worldwide testimonials showcase VideoScribes versatility which is attracting interest from many sectors, including education, training and marketing”.

Founded in 2008, Sparkol has bucked the recession and continues to grow. A year ago Sparkol had a team of just two people. This summer after a period of rapid recruitment three new creative and development professionals will join the company bringing the total to 15.

• Music, audio and photographs can be added enhancing the scribe further or to add a unique twist to established ideas and theories. With VideoScribe the opportunities for self-expression are endless.
