Stoke Park Club is on hand to help spoil Dads of all ages with special promotions in the hotel, treatments in SPA SPC, and a delicious lunch in The Park Restaurant on Father’s Day itself. Executive Head Chef, Chris Wheeler has attracted much critical acclaim of late with The Park appearing in the “Top Twenty Best Out of Town Restaurants in the UK” by Harpers & Queen Restaurant Guide 2005, and Chris himself making his TV debut appearing alongside Jean Christophe Novelli in the second series of Hell’s Kitchen in April.

Gourmet Dad - Father’s Day Sunday Lunch – 19th June 2005

On Sunday 19th June, Chris and his brigade will be preparing a superb three course Father’s Day Lunch. Delicious main courses include Roast Tenderloin of Pork served with Sage and Onion Mash, “Chef’s Dad’s Runner Beans”, Cherry Apple and Madeira Jus and Oven baked Guinea fowl filled with Local Blue Cheese, Wrapped in Pancetta and served with Summer Green Vegetables, Fondant Potato and Red Wine Sauce.

All Dads must save room for one of Chris’ popular desserts, be it John Wheeler’s Raspberry Fool with Strawberry Coulis (using Chris’ Dad’s home-grown raspberries) or Chocolate Fondant with Bailey’s Ice Cream and Coffee Anglaise Sauce.

The Club Shop, run by Stoke Park Club’s professional golfers, stock a range of gift ideas including the special Father’s Day offer of purchasing a 30 minute golf lesson at £30, and receiving an extra 30 minutes free. These vouchers will only be on sale during the month of June and will be valid until 30th September.
