London Based Managed Services Provider Completes Equity Investment and Announces Series of New Board Appointments

LONDON – 4 February 2013 – Technology entrepreneur Des Lekerman, less than two years after selling Eurodata Systems for an undisclosed sum, is on to his next venture.

At Eurodata, he built a hugely successful Cloud & Managed Services business and sold it 22 years later to Trinity Expert Systems. Working with Simon Cope-Thompson of Livingston Partners, he has been looking for his next opportunity and is delighted to announce today his return to the Managed Services industry.

Lekerman has led an Equity investment into TIGL Holdings Limited to acquire The Internet Group Ltd; a London based Managed Services Provider which currently employs 70 staff and services over 100 mid-sized business customers globally.

Lekerman said: "I am delighted to announce my new role as Group CEO of TIGL Holdings which will provide the structure for our growth moving forward. The Internet Group was selected as our platform business because of its highly process-driven and customer-centric Managed Services offering".

The Company is also pleased to announce a series of new Board appointments to join the existing management team to spearhead its rapid growth.
George Georgiou joins the company as Group Sales Director, Mark Moss joins the company as Group CTO and Adam Maurice (previously the Founder & Managing Director of The Internet Group Ltd) will transition to the role of Group COO.

Group Chairman Paul Edgeley (formerly Managing Director BT Lynx) commenting on the transaction, said "The timing of this transaction was perfect for both sides, and I am excited about the great prospects for our clients and staff"

The new Group is going to be shortly re-branded as TIG and offer an enhanced portfolio of Managed Services and Cloud Services.
