As a result of a link up with Lonely Planet a library of the famous travel guides are now available at all Tampopo restaurants for customers to leaf through while they enjoy their favourite Tampopo dish.

Co-founder David Fox says “I’ve been reading Lonely Planet travel guides since 1984 and have always found them to be great companions on my travels to East Asia. Now rather than getting sore knees at my local bookstore, I can read up on the region in the comfort of Tampopo before I buy the guide of my chosen travel destination. Whether it’s researching Sumatra in Indonesia whilst enjoying a Nasi Goreng, or reading up on jungle trekking in Northern Thailand whilst slurping down my Chiang Mai noodles, it’s a great way to get ideas of where to travel to next.”
