London, 11 May 2017 – Route planning and scheduling software specialist Maxoptra has reported unprecedented sales in the first quarter of 2017. New additions to the Maxoptra cloud based user community in the UK have seen a focus on the food and furniture sectors, while international adopters of the dynamic route optimisation solution include one of Saudi Arabia’s leading food and confectionary manufacturers, a South African based telecoms provider and Denmark’s best and well known online furniture store. The results follow recent expansion announcements with investment in a new sales and marketing operation in the south coast city of Brighton.
“The first quarter of 2017 has been amazing!” commented Maxoptra Business Development Director Stuart Brunger. “We have seen more than 30 new organisations sign up to the service, which equates to a 15 per cent growth. We have secured some significant overseas contracts and strengthened our position in the UK.
“I think one of the reasons behind Maxoptra’s success is that we deliver what we say we will, which helps our users do the same,” continued Brunger. “We offer cloud based functionality our customers really need, we make the solution accessible and affordable, we deliver a fast return on investment and we are there at every step to offer advice and support.”
Maxoptra is a market leading cloud based dynamic scheduling and route optimisation software platform. Although used by some of the largest fleets in the UK and Europe, Maxoptra also appeals to smaller fleet operators as it is easy to use, robust, flexible and well supported. With an open API, Maxoptra is easy to integrate with existing back office systems and processes, in vehicle telematics and customer service solutions and, being cloud based, is accessible from any Internet enabled device including smartphones and tablets.
Maxoptra can build a delivery schedule in matter of seconds with just a few clicks and can make real time adjustments to the plan, even once vehicles are out on the road. Powerful route optimisation algorithms deliver tangible improvements in productivity and allow users to enjoy significant cost savings while additional functionality, including automated ETA notifications, POD reporting and a newly launched Facebook Bot, are also attractive, helping users offer superior customer service.
Unlike other solutions, the cloud based Maxoptra platform is offered with no upfront hardware costs or minimum user contracts. A simple per vehicle registration fee is applied with a rolling monthly contract, charging only for vehicles used, which allows vehicles to be added or removed as users expand their operations or respond to fluctuations in demand.
