Women’s Event to Change the Future of the Corporate Playing Field

Rina Goldenberg Lynch

Our conference is set to be a stimulating day that will ignite fresh thinking and an engaging conversation

On Friday 8 July, leading diversity and inclusion consultancy Voice At The Table will host their Changing The Playing Field conference at law firm Hogan Lovells LLP in the City of London.

Aimed at professional mid-career women and senior HR managers from city institutions, including law firms, accountants and insurance companies, the event will discuss how women can change the future of the corporate world and what they can do to ensure success.

Having had a hugely successful year so far with plenty of interactive and informative panels, workshops and masterclasses taking place weekly, Voice At The Table looks forward to this exciting and forward-thinking event. Delegates can expect to walk away understanding how to identify their personal leadership style, how to maximise input from a mixed gender, high performing team and how to become instruments of change in their companies.

Rina Goldenberg Lynch, the founder and managing director of Voice At The Table, said “Our conference is set to be a stimulating day that will ignite fresh thinking and an engaging conversation. We are thrilled to have some amazing women speaking throughout the day and sharing their professional expertise on topics that are thought-provoking and important to the professional woman of today and tomorrow.”

Speaking at the flagship event are three high profile women who will be sharing their professional and personal insights and experiences on these topics, including:

World-renowned yachtswoman Tracy Edwards MBE who sailed to success 26 years ago by leading the first all-female crew to the finish line of the Whitbread Round the World Race in 1990. Today, Tracy focusses her time working with her charity The Maiden Rescue to rescue and restore her beloved yacht, which will become an ambassador for Girls’ Rights and Education in the UK and developing countries.

Also speaking is Pauline Crawford. Dr Crawford is the brain behind the Gender Dynamics© framework, a unique perspective for men and women together to maximise their communication, relationships and creative results. She is also the founder and chief executive of performance consultancy Corporate Heart and offers 25 years of experience across the globe (currently working in Kuala Lumpur) in the field of behavioural change and corporate cultural transformation.

Danusia Malina-Derben will also be speaking at the event. Dr Malina-Derben is a straight-talking consultant who harnesses C-suite executives with unstoppable business leadership prowess. Over the past 15 years, Danusia has worked with entrepreneurs and the boards of Blue Chip and Fortune 500 Companies. She is also a mother of ten.

The agenda for the July 8 event will also include discussion and workshops on the 21st century leader, trends in leadership, gender dynamics, inclusive cultures and personal leadership styles.

About Voice At The Table and Rina Goldenberg Lynch:

Voice At The Table is a diversity and inclusion consultancy with the core aim of providing companies and their female workforce with the tools to progress and contribute authentically and improving the representation of women at all levels.

Voice At The Table takes a two-pronged approach. Firstly, it aims to transform corporate culture in order to facilitate women’s particular talents, to uncover the potential to deliver a stronger business with more women in leadership, to change the model of leadership to a more collaborative style with emphasis on emotional intelligence for leaders and to promote an adaptable working environment for both women and men.

Secondly, Voice At The Table intends to unlock the full potential of women by building confidence, changing internal dialogue and challenging assumptions.

Similar topics that have featured in Voice At The Table’s Training Academy have included “The Mindset for Success”, “Become More Assertive”, “Get Better at Stress” and “Find Your Strengths for Career Success” all of which have had impressive feedback from attendees.

The consultancy has worked with a variety of clients including American Express Brighton, ING Bank London and Amsterdam and FTI Consulting. Event and Training delegates have come from Deloittes, Royal Mail and The Royal Bank of Canada.

The business was founded by Rina Goldenberg Lynch who is an Accredited Associate Executive Coach and a qualified ILM Level 5 trainer.

Rina worked for 20 years as a City lawyer and executive and so has a wealth of skills that a corporate career imparts. In recent years, Rina has been working on diversity and inclusion matters (D&I), including strategy development and initiatives. She has experience coaching and mentoring women across the board in corporate, not-for-profit and entrepreneurial sectors.

Rina’s belief is that confidence is the key ingredient to a woman’s success and focuses on building this attribute as an ingredient in all services offered by Voice At The Table.
