We are inviting journalists and bloggers with an interest in beer, food and travel to attend a long weekend trip to northern Italy on behalf of Menabrea, an Italian beer brewed in the Piedmont town of Biella, in the foothills of the Italian Alps.
Leaving on Friday 12 June and returning on Sunday 14th, we will discover authentic beer and food in the Piedmont and Lombardy regions of Italy, not automatically the first choice for a beer tourist perhaps, but certainly an excellent one.
Menabrea is produced in Italy’s oldest continuously operating brewery but has only recently confirmed its first significant UK distribution and we’d like you to experience the beer in its natural home.
During the trip, you’ll receive a warm welcome in the town of Biella, where we’ll visit the brewery and meet the team. You’ll also experience the Biella speciality of Sbirro, Menabrean beer-infused Botella cheese.
