London College of Garden Design (LCGD) has reached its 10th anniversary, a milestone that they are celebrating with a range of special events, sponsorship and a special bursary scheme for 2018.
Andrew Wilson Director of Garden Design Studies said “Despite being the young kid on the block LCGD is now recognised as one of the leading places to study garden design worldwide. {{Our students have won more student design awards than any other college over the past 10 years}} and have graduated to establish successful businesses, collaborations and careers all over the world.” The College will be launching a special 10th anniversary bursary scheme to enable two students to study at no cost in the coming year later this month.
The college has been built upon delivering world-class garden design training with every lecturer and tutor practising in a specialist field whether it is garden design, landscape architecture, landscaping or horticulture. To celebrate this collaboration with some of the world’s leading landscape professionals the college will be announcing events over the coming year including special graduate study days with Barcham Trees at RBG Kew, CED at Regent’s University and some very special 10th anniversary takeovers of their renowned Info Bursts.
The College has already increased its partner support of industry charity Perennial in 2018 and will shortly announce a major sponsorship for later in the year. Director Andrew Fisher Tomlin said “Perennial are a key partner for LCGD and as much as they can support our students we’re there to support their valuable work for the whole industry.”
