51% efficient solar thermal system tested in the UK

Solar graphene, a superconductor at room temperature has successfully been tested in a basic experiment to produce 51% efficiency at converting the energy of sunlight into heat. The current world record is set at 44%.
The experiment verified the concept, that using graphene in solar thermal applications is by far the most efficient substance to use for this application as it absorbs the full light spectrum, unlike other substances.
The inventor is confident that the output can be boosted to at least 65%, by making simple changes to the model to optimise output.
