Tulleys Christmas Light Festival, the West Sussex festive attraction known for its spectacular illuminations and viral social media moments, is preparing to return for Christmas 2026 with its biggest expansion yet.

With millions of lights illuminating woodlands, lakes and open landscapes, supported by an impressive 500-speaker soundscape, the festival has become one of the country's most talked-about festive experiences, attracting visitors from across the UK and welcoming celebrity guests including Davina McCall, Rag'n'Bone Man and Jayne Torvill.

Returning on 27 November 2026, the festival promises an even bigger Christmas experience, with three brand-new attractions joining its award-winning displays, live entertainment and festive experiences.

New for 2026: The Alpine Valley
Taking centre stage is The Alpine Valley, the biggest new addition in the history of Tulleys Christmas Light Festival.
This spectacular new land takes inspiration from the beauty of alpine landscapes, inviting visitors to wander along winding pathways, cross charming wooden bridges and explore a beautiful winter setting filled with peaceful ponds, flowing streams and breathtaking illuminations.

Beautifully illuminated landscapes and reflections across the water bring the valley to life, creating a new part of the festival to explore, with peaceful corners, picturesque viewpoints and plenty of opportunities to capture special Christmas memories.

Two further attractions will also make their debut for 2026.

The Fallen Star introduces a striking new installation hidden deep within the woodland, where a magnificent illuminated star rests in a pool of shimmering reflections, creating a beautiful setting inspired by Christmas wishes and wonder.

The Vintage Carousel also joins the festival, bringing a traditional festive favourite to the event and another special experience for families to enjoy together.

Award-Winning Shows and Returning Favourites
The festival's much-loved attractions return for 2026, including The Spirit of Christmas Show, a spectacular lakeside display where light, colour and music dance across the water.
Let It Snow transforms the woodland into a beautiful winter scene, complete with gentle snowfall and shimmering white displays, while Twilight Reflections offers a peaceful moment beside the lake, with fountains and colourful reflections creating a calming Christmas atmosphere.

The dramatic Fire and Ice Show returns with its striking contrast of blazing fire and icy brilliance, alongside the Enchanted Forest, where glowing trees, fairies and mystical creatures bring the woodland to life.

Visitors can also wander through Love Lane, illuminated by hundreds of glowing lanterns, explore Merry Magic, where colourful Christmas trees move in time with the music, or enjoy Let's Dance, a lively woodland space filled with music, movement and light.

Unlike traditional Christmas light trails, there is no fixed route at Tulleys, allowing guests to wander freely and discover the different attractions at their own pace.

Festive Food, Drink and Live Entertainment
Beyond the spectacular illuminations, Tulleys Christmas Light Festival offers a complete festive evening out, with live entertainment, seasonal food, warming drinks and cosy spaces to enjoy together.

The Alpine Village, set within the woodland, provides a welcoming place to gather, with heated cabins, fire pits, marshmallow toasting and wood-fired pizza.

Throughout the festival, visitors can enjoy a wide selection of festive street food, including Christmas dinner wraps, hot dogs, fresh doughnuts and seasonal favourites.

Mulled wine and winter cocktails are served across the event, while two live music stages bring a mix of lively performances and relaxed acoustic entertainment to the woodland.
The Christmas Market returns with festive gifts and seasonal treats, while spectacular stilt walkers add to the atmosphere throughout the evening.

For those seeking something extra special, the Après Club offers an exclusive woodland retreat featuring three heated luxury tipis, cosy alpine-inspired interiors, cocktails and a live DJ.
The festival's 33-metre Observation Wheel returns for 2026, offering panoramic views across the illuminated woodland and surrounding countryside.
With millions of lights stretching across the landscape, the wheel provides a unique perspective on the scale of the festival and its spectacular Christmas setting.
