Eight of Britain’s top curry chefs will go head to head in a battle of the baltis as part of this year’s British Curry Awards.
It’ll be the first time that the country’s ‘curry Oscars’ have featured a separate competition for individual chefs.
The cook-off will take place at the London School of Hospitality & Tourism – part of the University of West London – just over a week before the British Curry Awards are due to be presented at the Battersea Evolution on Monday 28 November.
Top TV chef James Martin will host the awards night when the Chef of the Year competition winner will be announced along with the restaurants that have been voted the best in each of nine regions of the UK.
