Some of the UK’s highest-profile anti-abuse experts have been appointed to the board of a new non-for-profit set up to combat this growing threat. The Digital-Trust’s board will included those from the fields of victim support, campaigning, political lobbying, psychology, academia, criminal justice and technology.
The not-for-profit was set up by veteran campaigner and digital safety expert Jennifer Perry to provide help, advice and support to those adversely affected by digital abuse and those trying to help them.
Jennifer wrote the UK’s most comprehensive guidelines to digital abuse - Digital Stalking: A guide to technology risks for victims, which have been incorporated in UK police training and are used by many UK support charities.
