Leading industry consultant is available for press briefings on how technology is utilised by ticket touts, in light of parliamentary debate on Secondary Ticketing Market.

BACKGROUND: Ministers in the House of Commons today (12 January 2015) will be debating the Consumer Rights Bill, which makes provisions to amend the law relating to the rights of consumers and protection of their interests. One particular aspect of the bill has garnered attention recently thanks to an open letter signed by over 80 representatives of the music, sport and entertainment industries. Together they urged the Government to support amendments to the bill which would stop the “unscrupulous” secondary ticketing industry which they believe is ripping off fans and the stars.
