The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) recognised the need to review its business continuity arrangements after conducting an initial assessment of its capabilities using AUDESAT, an AUDE (Association of University Directors of Estates) self assessment tool.

To address capability issues SOAS, a college of the University of London, selected Jermyn Consulting, independent business continuity and IT disaster recovery advisers, to develop and implement a comprehensive business continuity management system.
