White Glo Announces Its Top Ten Tennis-White smiles

Every year, people from around the world descend on SW4 to sip Pimm’s, eat strawberries and cream, and catch some tennis. The Championships at Wimbledon is over 140 years old and is watched by an international audience of an estimated one billion people. Over those 140 years Wimbledon has grown to be more than just a tennis tournament, becoming the most glamorous center piece of the British summer. Actors, musicians, and even royals are spotted dressed in their finest at the event every year and this year will be no different.
To celebrate 2018’s tournament, White Glo’s have put together their top ten smiles, as judged by their panel of dental experts. There are no separate categories for men and women. The only requirement is that they are a player in the Ladies, Gentlemen’s, or doubles tournaments.
Coming in at tenth place we have Nick Kyrgios. Often controversial, never boring, Nick Kyrgios has had his ups and downs as a player, but his ever-present cheeky smile keeps everyone watching glued to the screen.
Ninth and eight place belong to Sam Querry and Caroline Garcia respectively. Querry should have plenty of reasons to reveal his big smile as the grass court season is usually his strong stretch of the season. Caroline Garcia’s pearly white smile is infectious and should be on display for all to see this year as the 24-year-old continues her ascent to a top-five spot.
For the pick at the number one, there really was just one choice. Serena Williams is one of the best players ever to grace a court, and is coming into Wimbledon off the back of an incredible year. There was her famous win at the Australian Open whilst eight weeks pregnant, as well as coming back from a knee injury. Her return from the birth of her baby has been disrupted by injury but Serena at Wimbledon is a different matter. She’s won the tournament an incredible seven times making it her joint most successful tournament with the Australian Open.
Johanna Konta makes the list as Britain’s lone representative, but hopefully we’ll see plenty of Brits smiling over the tournament, as maybe even a trophy lift or two.
