Tracey Elliot-Reep is a modern adventuress with a towering faith in God, who travels the world by horseback and sets her sights on big goals.
In her latest book Riding By Faith Through New Zealand she recounts her journey from the tip of New Zealand’s North Island to the bottom of South Island.
Renowned as an excellent photographer she is also a gifted storyteller and numerous stunning photographs of the challenging terrain she encountered, the people she met and the horses that carried her illustrate this engaging account of her trip.
Tracey’s story begins several years ago on Dartmoor when she turned to her friend Alison, following a gallop across the moor, and asked: “How about riding across New Zealand?”
Nine months later and with NZ$130 between them, their journey began in New Zealand deciding to raise sponsorship for the Bangladesh Flood and Cyclone Appeal with Tear Fund as they went.
