The flat season across Europe maybe drawing to a close now but there are still some big prizes to be collected before the curtain falls on the ‘sport of kings’ for another year. The biggest of the lot takes place this weekend with the Prix De L’Arc De Triomphe at Longchamp the highlight on Sunday and as always, is shaping up to be an absolute classic. Europe’s richest race always attracts a stellar International field and we have runners from far and wide descending on Paris for the all-age and gender contest.

No horse has won the Arc in successive years since Alleged in 1978 and 1979 but in Treve, there could be a candidate capable of matching that feat this weekend. The four-year-old filly was the sensational winner of this race 12 months ago and although her form has been patchy at best this season, she cannot to be ruled out at potentially overpriced odds of 10/1.
