Gallant Richardson have rolled out lone worker safety app StaySafe to help ensure their employees are adequately protected when working alone and travelling between appointments.

StaySafe is an app and surrounding cloud-based monitoring service which tracks a lone worker’s location via GPS and alerts their manager if an employee triggers an alert or they do not check-in within a specified time.

Gallant Richardson launched StaySafe as a means of protection for their staff that spend most of their working day travelling between properties and in off-site client meetings.

Before StaySafe, the company relied on traditional safety policies such as verbal communication, code words and workers carrying personal alarms when working offsite. The company felt that if an incident were to happen, these safety strategies can be unreliable, and they began searching for a more robust alternative. Gallant Richardson wanted a solution that was cost effective, easy to use and implement and fit for use in both the office and remotely.
