Prestigious SC Magazine Awards recognise Blue Coat’s technology leadership

LONDON, UK JUNE 28th, 2016 – At a glittering riverside ceremony attended by the UK’s most senior IT Security figureheads, Blue Coat Systems, Inc. a leading provider of advanced web security solutions for global enterprises and governments, was once again confirmed as the best Web Content Management solution by the UK’s foremost IT Security title, SC Magazine.

This award, which Blue Coat also won in 2014, crowns an eighteen month period which has seen Blue Coat make significant progress and expand its portfolio into cloud-based protection. This year it beat out rivals including Sophos and TitanHQ to claim the honours, joining fellow winners who were described by Tony Morbin, editor of SC Magazine, as “leading players in making our world a safer place.”

Blue Coat’s refreshed portfolio, built on the recent acquisition of Elastica and Perspecsys, now extends to on-premise, private and public cloud. This new SC Awards recognition once more highlights Blue Coat’s leadership amongst its peers in the IT Security sector.
