Your pet’s fur could have a place in your jewellery box this Christmas. Brighton brand Fur & Forever sets a small lock of fur into silver rings and heart pendants, creating gifts with a connection to the animal their owner loves.
Its Christmas gift selection with The Brighton Beekeeper brings together five ideas, from GBP 9.99 stocking fillers to personalised jewellery. Both brands are run by Brighton maker and beekeeper Jack Lockyer, who runs Fur & Forever with his wife Mel.
The beekeeping connection goes beyond the name. The Brighton Beekeeper uses cappings beeswax, the fresh wax seals bees build over their stored honey, in its body butter and lip balm. Collected during the honey harvest, the wax is blended with plant oils and butters to make skincare by hand in Brighton. There is something for four-legged family members too: Nose & Toes, a nose and paw balm created by the two brands together.
