TrackR platform now opening doors for UK lock pioneer

London, UK, 12th April 2017 – TrackR, a leader in personal item management innovations, today announced another Works with TrackR platform win with Brisant, the high-security door lock specialist.

The Works with TrackR platform enables developers and manufacturers to find any item via Bluetooth-low-energy (which consumes 50 times less power than Bluetooth Classic) or TrackR’s Crowd Locate network. The latest product to use Works with TrackR is Brisant’s innovative Ultion Keyring.

Ultion Keyring’s built-in TrackR technology means homeowners can connect their smartphone to their keys via Bluetooth. Using the slick and the user-friendly TrackR app, they can ring their lost keys. If the homeowners are in the house but still can't find them, they just need to press a button on the app and their keys ring thanks to a 95 decibels’ buzzer. To make finding them at night even easier, Brisant has created a luminous Ultion Keyring that glows brightly in the dark. A real lifesaver, considering keys are the most commonly misplaced items among adults.

Out of Bluetooth range? Keys fell out of your pocket? TrackR’s Crowd Locate network is a new way to help recover lost items without a monthly fee or expensive live GPS device. The connected TrackR community will automatically start searching for your keys. If one of the millions of TrackR users walks by your missing key while running the app, you’ll receive a confidential update with your key's last known location. About Brisant

Brisant started in 2012 selling a range of innovative cylinder locks to locksmiths. Most locksmiths are small local firms who repair and replace door locks. They operate out of small premises and vans.
