Sopra Steria Recruitment Reappointed as Master Vendor for Northumbrian Water

London, 19 November 2018: Sopra Steria Recruitment, one of the UK’s leading staffing companies and managed recruitment service providers, is delighted to announce that it has recently been reappointed by Northumbrian Water as Master Vendor for the supply of IS Contractor Resources. The move comes following marked success in providing contract and permanent IT staff to the organisation under a framework agreement originally granted in 2013.

Northumbrian Water supplies 2.7 million customers in the North East with both water and sewerage services, trading as Northumbrian Water, and 1.8 million customers in the South East with water services, trading as Essex & Suffolk Water. Sopra Steria Recruitment was awarded the contract following a thorough and open procurement exercise, where its excellent track record of providing talent to the organisation was an important factor.

Under the previous agreement, Sopra Steria Recruitment delivered 100% of all contract and temporary IT resources, exceeded agreed cost savings and won Northumbrian Water’s ‘Supplier of the Year’ award in 2016.

Under the new agreement, Sopra Steria Recruitment will provide contractors through an MSP model for a period of three years, with an option to extend for a further three years, from 1st January 2019.
