Primal Cure TV today announces the launch of a fantastic and informative new cooking show ‘The Primal Kitchen’.

Helping the ones you love, live longer, forms the ethos of this new cookery slot on Primal Cure’s health channel. Hosted by Steve Bennett, founder and author of The Primal Cure book, this engaging and informative culinary panel show is packed full of special guests and is set to change the way we think about nutrition, cooking and eating.

Coming from their brand-new studios, The Primal Kitchen will share a raft of tasty and healthy recipes and host discussions designed to help the audience and the ones you love, live a longer, happier, healthier life. The Primal Kitchen adds to an already full line-up of informative and forward-thinking shows.

Created by ‘Health Daddy’ – Steve Bennett, founder of Primal Cure, Primal Cure TV is Sky’s only dedicated health channel. Its programming is designed to educate, inform and have a positive impact on the UK’s health habits.

As the team cook up a storm, demonstrating recipes and Primal Cure’s range of supplements and lifestyle products, they’ll also welcome a range of experts and special guests from the world of food, nutrition, celebrity and medicine.

Primal Cure’s resident Doctors, Dr. Dan Maggs and Dr. Shan Hussain will regularly feature and demonstrate their go-to meals, which keep them and their families healthy. Getting the Doctors out of their surgeries and into the kitchen means they can lead by example and prove they do really practice what they preach.

Steve Bennett comments: “Over the last four years, I’ve learned that hope isn’t a strategy. I’m turning my family’s life around by trying to remove deadly sugar, processed carbohydrates, bread, cereals, soft drinks and fruit juices. Instead I’m focusing on real food such as eggs, fish, nuts, meat, vegetables, berries, coconut, avocado, dairy and supplements. If I can do it for my family, anyone can and that is why we have launched Primal Kitchen, to educate and lead a new generation into healthier, mindful living and eating. We want to have a positive impact on each and every person in the UK. We want to make a difference.”

Alongside Steve, the presenting team will also include Primal Chef, Hannah Anderson, co-author of Primal Gourmet. Hannah will be regularly cooking up fabulous, primal friendly, seasonal dishes from the best-selling book ‘Primal Gourmet’ plus brand new dishes for viewers to follow at home.

Poppy Hadkinson completes the presenting line-up. Poppy and Steve will lead discussions on health, lifestyle, nutrition and weight-loss and will be raising the latest hot topics surrounding issues and solutions in these areas.

About the doctors:
Dr Daniel Maggs
As a General Practitioner (GP), you’d think Dr Dan Maggs would know how to get his weight problems under control. Yet despite several attempts – adhering to a ‘balanced diet’ as specified in the UK’s national dietary guidelines – he found himself clinically obese in his early 30’s. Thankfully, a chance encounter whilst on holiday in 2016 led him to discover the power of a Primal diet, built around a low carbohydrate intake… In the following six months, he lost an incredible 30kg (over 60lbs) and rapidly normalised his weight! Since his remarkable transformation, Dr. Dan has developed a love for exercise and wellbeing and is now in the best shape of his life. Losing so much weight by going against government advice and ignoring mainstream dietary guidelines led him to question much of what he learned during medical training... Quickly, he’d discovered these guidelines aren’t based around robust medical evidence at all and that evidence proves we should be adopting a Primal approach to the way we eat and live. To avoid weight gain, diabetes, heart disease and other serious illness, Dr Dan is a firm believer in the power of a low carb, organic, Primal diet, enabling us to live longer, healthier, happier lives. As one of our revered Primal Doctors and an integral part of the Primal Cure team, he spreads his powerful message both with us and via his own website: http://www.carbdodging.com

Dr. Shan Hussain
Practising as a General Practitioner (GP) for 18 years, Dr. Shan Hussain has become a renowned author, health coach, wellness advisor and ambassador to the World Health Innovation Summit. Dr Shan is founder of The Health Studio, believing in a holistic approach to health, centred around our collective physical, mental and social wellbeing. As such, he has a special interest in health promotion and disease prevention. During his career, Dr. Hussain has developed several coaching programmes and mentorship schemes designed to help reverse the symptoms of many stress-related health problems, working with individuals and organisations to help naturally improve health in a sustainable way. His best-selling book, The Big Prescription, serves as a guide for readers to learn about evidence-based holistic health practices that create the foundation of his work. As part of the Primal Cure team, Dr. Shan is the perfect fit. Because whilst cure is in our name, prevention is in our nature!

Poppy Hadkinson
Poppy’s zest for life is there for us all to see any time we tune in to Primal Cure TV, and rightly so. Her remarkable enthusiasm is built upon an inspiring story, due to a condition called Severe and Brittle Asthma, she has been intubated in intensive care and induced into a coma no less than four times, enduring hypoxic fits and suffering respiratory arrest twice! For that reason, she has a keen interest in holistic wellbeing and is an ambassador for Asthma UK. In this role, she puts her presenting skills to good use as an accomplished public speaker, raising awareness at charity events on a regular basis. Like other members of our Primal team, spending considerable time in and out of hospital over a number of years means she is well placed to talk about our health care system. Having worked in television for over five years, Poppy is a charismatic presenter with a passion for entirely natural products and organic solutions which allow people to look and feel their healthiest. She is proud to be a part of the Primal Cure movement and we’re equally proud to have her on board.

Hannah Anderson
As a respected fitness blogger and health enthusiast, Hannah’s online reputation for living a healthy lifestyle centred around delicious plates of colourful food, has gathered pace in just a few short years. A firm believer in the relationship between good nutrition and positive mindset, her success is fuelled by creative cooking principles, which keep her fit, healthy and happy. Just 24 years old at the time of publishing Primal Gourmet, she’s a wizard in the kitchen and her attention to detail is incredible. Most of all, Hannah believes in having fun with what we eat; cooking, the Primal way.
