Edd China and Shadow Foam® team up to raise money for Stella’s Voice charity

Wheeler Dealers former chief mechanic, Edd China, is helping Northwich based company Shadow Foam® to raise money for the anti-trafficking charity, Stella’s Voice.

The idea originated with Shadow Foam® ’s Managing Director, Jonathan Shone, who had been watching Edd’s YouTube channel and noticed that his branding colours were orange and blue.

Jonathan set about to create an orange toolbox with custom cut Edd China decals, lined with blue Shadow Foam® and fitted with a professional set of orange and blue tools which he then presented to Edd at a book signing in Manchester.

Edd said: “I am ‘foaming’ with excitement because these guys have given me a present that involves some cutting edge technology. All the foam is cut by hand to fit all the tools. Very clever.”

Edd China is currently promoting his new book ‘Grease Junkie – A Book of Moving Parts’.

Edd was so taken with the toolbox that he agreed to sign a copy and along with his new book, this now forms the basis of a charity auction the two have set up on eBay.

The aim is to raise as much money as possible for Stella’s Voice, a charity set up after the fall of communism in Eastern Europe in 1996 and media reports began showing the dire conditions of the state-run orphan homes.

Today, their mission is protecting the world’s most vulnerable from traffickers by providing care, education, and jobs.

The eBay auction is currently live and is set to close on 10th June 2019 at 16.27 BST.
