Eventbrite Halloween events skyrocket

Fake blood? Check. Vampire fangs? Check? 3,000 bags of sweets? Check.

Yes, it’s that time of year again. Halloween is officially upon us. And if you’ve already got your outfit planned from head to toe, have arranged at least three social events to celebrate and have been eating pumpkin-spiced-everything for the past month, then the chances are you’re probably not alone…

Halloween is fast becoming one of the UK’s most popular festivities - and it seems we’re following in the footsteps of the USA when it comes to celebrating in the most extra of ways...

Indeed, according to the global events and ticketing platform Eventbrite, the number of Halloween-themed events in the UK has been increasingly rapidly year on year, growing by a frightening 185% since 2015.

This year, over 2,300 celebrations are scheduled to happen up and down the country - and Eventbrite has seen a growing trend emerge for event creators coming up with weird, wacky and quite frankly, terrifying, Halloween experiences…

So whether you fancy sleeping over in a haunted house, playing a game of Halloween bingo or even treating yourself to Halloween burlesque show (yes, it’s a thing…), there’s an event out there for you.

We’ve rounded up 10 of the best out there to really give you the chills….
