From Skepticism to Collaboration

"As a seasoned agency owner," Orchard admits, "I was initially wary of AI. I encountered it years ago at industry events, but back then, it felt abstract. When I first tried AI content creation, the frustration of new tech not quite meeting my expectations led me to abandon it.”

However, a trial of AI SEO software proved transformative, when harnessed by seasoned SEO professionals. "The results were impressive," Orchard says. "It offered immediate improvement in client service. But more intriguing was my subconscious shift in perception. I wasn't yet personifying AI, but I envisioned a future where our relationship evolved.”

This subconscious respect sparked a realisation. "My initial interaction with AI was riddled with frustration," Orchard reflects. "I treated it almost like a servant failing to meet expectations. We wouldn't treat an apprentice that way, would we? That's when it hit me: AI could be a new team member, one that needs training and guidance to develop its skills.”

This led to a fundamental shift. "I began seeing AI as an apprentice with immense potential. Kindness always wins, even towards a machine. Respecting AI made the entire process more enjoyable.”

Embracing the Future

"Initially," Orchard confesses, "I resisted the AI revolution, but now, AI is like signing Jude Bellingham – it’s a game-changer, and you gain a superstar player.”
