Excel is a Finalist in Two Categories for the DCS Awards

Excel Networking Solutions, the copper and optical cabling infrastructure provider, is a finalist in two categories for the forthcoming DCS Awards which take place in London on 12th May 2016.

The DCS Awards are designed to reward the product designers, manufacturers, suppliers and providers operating in the data centre arena. The Awards recognise the achievements of the vendors and their business partners alike and this year encompass a wider range of both facilities and information technology award categories designed to address all of the main areas of the data centre market in Europe.

Excel is a finalist in the ‘Data Centre Cabling Product of the Year’ for the EXCELERATOR range of pre-terminated fibre products and ‘Data Centre Cabinets/Racks Product of the Year’ for the Environ SR and OR Range.

Tracey Calcutt, Marketing Manager said ‘It’s great to be recognised in the DCS awards, the data centre market is an area that we’ve been focused on for a number of years and we have an extensive range of proven DC products including the EXCELERATOR range of
pre-terminated fibre distribution cables, break-out cables, mini break-out cables and MTP.’

Tracey continued ‘The Environ Racks provide a wide choice of sizes and styles, features and accessories such as hot and cold aisle solutions, all suitable for the DC market. The Environ Racks are assembled in Birmingham with large stocks available for next day free delivery to the UK mainland, which is a great benefit when deadlines for an installation are tight.’

Tracey concluded ‘Having just won the Network Computing ‘Cabling Infrastructure of the Year’ Award on the 17th March in London, we certainly seem to be on a roll in showing just how popular the Excel brand has become. We hope that we can do the same at the DCS awards in May.’
