Paymentsense has been shortlisted for the Amazon Digital Business of the Year Award at the 2016 Lloyds Bank National Business Awards.

Based in London, Paymentsense is the UK and Ireland’s largest merchant service provider, supplying card payment solutions to over 50,000 small and medium businesses.
Jed Rose, CEO and Director at Paymentsense said: “Technology and digital innovation underpin everything we do here at Paymentsense, and so to be shortlisted in the Amazon Digital Business of the Year category is an incredible achievement for us.”

Paymentsense will be competing for the award with a host of the country's leading digital businesses, with the winner being revealed at the awards gala dinner held on 15th November at the Grosvenor House Hotel Park Lane, London.

Last year, Paymentsense took home the Growth Business of the Year Award, having first been shortlisted for this award in 2013. The company’s continued growth has been fuelled almost entirely by its commitment to technological advancements that provide efficiencies throughout its operations.

As well as featuring in these awards listings, Paymentsense was more recently ranked as Europe’s 19th fastest-growing business at the Media Momentum Awards 2014 and the company’s founders featured in the ‘CEO of the Year’ category at the Digital Masters Awards 2014 in London.
Finalists for this year’s awards were chosen from the hundreds of businesses that entered or were nominated across 18 award categories. They will now prepare for live presentations to an expert judging panel who will decide the overall winners.

For the first time, RT Hon Conor McGinn MP recently hosted a reception for the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards at the House of Commons, where finalists met fellow entrants, the National Business Awards Advisory Board members, judges and sponsors of each category.

Tom Broughton, Group Brand Director of the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards said: “Due to the high number of entries for this years’ awards, narrowing the entries down to 140 finalists was a difficult task. But through a thorough and comprehensive judging process, the selected finalists demonstrate exceptional quality and diversity across a range of business sectors within the UK. We are now looking forward to the next step of the process and meeting some of the finalists face-to-face.”
